Studio cottages

Our one bedroom cottage provides a bed-sitting room with King sized bed that will split to make two double beds, washroom with toilet and shower, French doors leading to a screened in porch and beautiful views of the water and forest. The interior finishing is in solid natural Cedar and White Pine.

Double Suite cottages

Each cottage has two private bedrooms with a queen or king sized bed, a washroom with toilet and shower, a sitting room with wood stove and French doors leading out onto a screened porch with views of the water. Interior finishing is in solid Cedar and White Pine.

Three Bedroom cottages

Three private bedrooms, two of which have queen or king sized beds and one with a bunk bed, a washroom with toilet and shower, a large sitting room with wood stove, French doors opening out to a screened porch with lovely views of the water.

All cottage rates include dinner on arrival, breakfast on departure, 2 meals per day, a delicious packed lunch can be prepared on request for an additional charge, linens, towels, daily maid service and use of our extensive facilities. Housekeeping Cabins

We have Seven (7) housekeeping cottages ranging from one (2 persons) to three bedrooms (six persons). They are all by the water with wonderful views and include Queen or King beds, beautiful furniture, screened porch, completely equipped kitchen, we welcome housekeeping guests to eat in the lodge restaurant - please make reservations - a la carte. All other resort facilities are available to housekeeping guests.

We generally only rent the housekeeping cottages on a weekly basis in July and August and can rent them on a nightly basis in May, June, September and October – rates on request.

Taxes/Gratuities:

Rates do not include the following taxes and gratuities: 5 % General Sales Tax (refundable by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency to non-residents of Canada), 5% Provincial Sales Tax chargeable against accommodation and 8% Provincial Sales Tax chargeable against goods and services other than accommodation. It is not necessary for cottage guests to tip at the lodge, as a gratuity of 15% is charged against your final invoice and is divided between the non-management staff (housekeeping, wait staff, kitchen, maintenance, etc).

If after making a reservation, a guest wishes to bring more people to the lodge, please call us well in advance, to see if this can be arranged.

Children

We happily accommodate children under 12 between July 1st and August 31st. Prior to and after these dates we are an adult only resort. P.S. We love children and this is a fun and fascinating place for them but there is a need to accommodate diners without children. We ask that families with children under 12 to please sit for dinner between 6:00 and 6:30pm to allow others the option of eating at a later time.

Deposits:

To confirm a reservation of one night, a 100% deposit* is required at the time of booking. To confirm a reservation of two or more nights, a 50% deposit* is required at the time of booking with the remaining due on departure. If there are fewer than 45 days remaining before your visit, the full 100% deposit* is required at the time of booking.
*Taxes and Service Charges not included.

Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location. As a result of this we uphold a strict cancellation policy. If a cancellation is made before your arrival date, you may apply the entire amount of your deposit towards a future stay within the next year less a $50.00 handling charge. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed departure dates, you will be responsible for all the original room nights booked for your intended stay.

Note: Some major preferred credit cards (we accept Mastercard and Visa) carry automatic travel insurance for members and their families. If you are not covered by a credit card, consider buying a travel insurance policy.

Check In/Out Times:

Check-In time is 4:00 PM. If you arrive early and your rooms are ready, we will be pleased to accommodate you. Otherwise enjoy the lodge, relax and we will notify you when your room is prepared.

Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you wish to stay later you are most welcome to do so but please have your bags ready for pick-up by 11:00 am.

Credit Cards

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not accept bankcards at the current time.

Pet Policy

We do allow dogs, as we are dog owners ourselves and understand the enjoyment and attachment we have to our four legged friends. However, dogs will be dogs, especially in strange places and we therefore have the following policies, that must be adhered to, in order that we can accommodate your canine friend:
